fuck today I didn't do a thing,
i didn't get out I just stayed at home
but I've got a gig this weekend in bellingen
with four of the best dudes I've ever known.

I spent a year in brisbane just drinking wine
applying for courses I couldn't stand,
well i didn't get in and thats just fine,
cause I legged it to lismore and found this band

now Im travelling the coastline and playing shows
with brodie ben, bobby d and jake.
and a group of friends that forever grows.
making the memories I 'd always hoped I'd make

and we'll keep knocking back these beers
like good times will never end
and I hope they never do
cause I've got so much time to spend

much bigger than the songs we sing.

busking on the street or singing in bar
is a sure fire way to never be alone.
driving in the van then drinking in a park
i've met so many good people so far from home.

i've made a friend who lives just up the block
he's got a floor he says we all could share
he left but said he'd leave a door unlocked.
pick up a case of tongs and meet us there.

to a friend I rarely see,
about how much we both have grown,
